FAQs
Before booking
Our tours include the services specified for each experience. Tours of El Yunque include round-trip transportation from San Juan tourist areas, air-conditioned vehicles, room-temperature water, and—where applicable—the entrance fee to El Yunque National Forest.
We offer pickup from hotels and designated locations in San Juan’s tourist areas, including Old San Juan, Condado, Isla Verde, Ocean Park, and the Convention District. The exact location depends on the service booked.
Yes, depending on the location. We recommend checking our designated pickup points or contacting us to find the most convenient option near your accommodation.
If you are staying at the airport hotel (San Juan Airport Hotel), we can arrange a pickup, even though it is not on our standard list of pickup locations.
Unfortunately, we do not have room for luggage in our vehicles, as they are designed solely for passengers and the trunk lacks the space found in other types of vehicles.
The duration depends on the service. Some experiences last approximately 4 hours, while others take around 6 hours. Please check the description of the specific excursion before booking.
Most of our excursions start around 8:00 a.m. We like to start early to avoid peak tourist times and make the most of the experience.
Yes. We work with small groups of up to 14 passengers per vehicle, which allows us to offer a more personalized experience.
Our guides speak English and Spanish, so we can accommodate visitors who speak either language.
Both. Our experiences combine fun, nature, culture, and interpretation so that our visitors not only get to know Puerto Rico but also learn about the destination.
We recommend comfortable clothing, suitable walking shoes, sunscreen, a cap or hat, and water; for excursions that visit the river, we also recommend a swimsuit, a towel, and preferably water shoes.
Yes. We provide room-temperature water. Visitors may also bring additional water if they wish.
Meals are not included in our tours, although some services include an optional stop for lunch. The cost of the meal is the visitor’s responsibility.
Yes. When an excursion includes time at the river, swimming is always optional. You can stay on the shore, relax, enjoy the surroundings, or take the opportunity to take photos.
Our tours generally operate in the rain, as El Yunque is a tropical rainforest. Conditions can differ between San Juan and the forest. If conditions at the destination do not allow the activity to be carried out safely, our guide will make the appropriate decision.
Safety is our priority. If river conditions are unsuitable, we may modify that part of the itinerary and offer alternatives, depending on the conditions and the specific service.
Our guide will assess the situation and determine the best alternative based on the service—such as allowing the visitor to rest, adjusting the pace, or coordinating an alternative option whenever possible.
Yes. Private tours offer greater flexibility to tailor schedules, itineraries, and group preferences. The price depends on the service, duration, distance, and specific requirements.
Yes. Our standard vehicles have a maximum capacity of 14 passengers, but we can accommodate large groups through private services or special arrangements.
You can book directly through our reservation system on the website, where you will find information on services, prices, schedules, and availability.
